Virtual Emerging Art Student Talent (EAST) Show

Guidelines | Fall/Winter 2020

Online Submission Deadline: November 13, 2020 by 5pm

All emerging art students between the ages of six (6) and eighteen (18) are eligible. The Virtual EAST Show is limited to the first fifty (50) applicants.

REQUIREMENTS: Each child or young adult may exhibit one piece. Artwork must be submitted at 300dpi and a .jpg format. Artwork may be Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Drawing, Sculpture, 3D, Watercolor, Photography, Digital Art, or Mixed-Media, etc. The artwork must be ORIGINAL work done by the student themselves. The artwork cannot have been shown at any previous EAST Shows, including the Greeley Park Art Show. For those emerging artists that are under the age of 18, the consent of a parent/guardian and will be required and submissions will not be accepted without said consent. Entry/Consent Form is below.

JUDGING: Ribbons are given in four age groups:

Ages 6 – 9 Ages 10 – 12 Ages 13 – 15 Ages 16 – 18

AWARDS: Winning works will receive ribbons after judging is finalized.

Parental/Guardian Consent Form (Under Age 18):

I certify that I am the parent/legal guardian of the above-named student and I acknowledge and agree to the following conditions with regard to participation in the Virtual EAST Show competition.

I hereby give the Nashua Area Artists' Association (NAAA) permission to publish photographs/images of artwork submitted and waive the opportunity or right to inspect or approve the finished photograph/image. I do hereby release the NAAA from any and all rights to claims, demands, actions or lawsuits which I may or can have against them on account of the use of the publication of said photographs/images.

I certify that the artwork submitted by the above-named artist is an original creation by said above-named artist.
