Mrs. Bennett was born in Berlin, Germany and now resides in Pepperell, Massachusetts. Art has always been her favorite subject and, after a successful business career, she has concentrated on watercolor painting. Through her paintings, she wants to share what is close to her heart – the beauty of nature. Inspiration comes from her backyard “friendship garden”, a garden grown from cuttings given to her by many friends.
Although she loves to paint florals and landscapes, she has also been painting “house portraits” on commission. Mrs. Bennett also teaches watercolor painting. During the summer months, Mrs. Bennett exhibits her paints in “Art-in-the-Park” shows. She has received many awards for her vibrant art. She is a member of the Nashua Area Artists Association and the Hollis Art Society.
