Hello! My name is Ekaterina and I am full time researcher at Harvard Medical School and part -time young beginning artist. I was born and raised in Russia, before I came to New England at the age of 19. I developed passion for painting in high school and took few classes in watercolor as high school student. It was not until few years ago when I decided to took my passion for painting on next level and learn new media – acrylics. I strive everyday to improve my technique and learn new skills. I get my inspiration from my life experiences and people around me. I am also a ballroom dancer and some of my paintings inspired by healing energy of dance. Creating paintings helps me to power through tough times in life being therapeutic as well as creative process. I am looking to be part of art community which can provide my growth and support as an artist. I also would like to volunteer my time to help local art community thrive.
