I love the arts, specifically: photography, drawing and painting. I enjoy learning new techniques and have some experience in knitting, macrame, jewelry making and print making. I have a minor in art from Tufts University, along with a BS in Computer Science. After surviving cancer and being a caregiver, I am shifting my goals to focus on a more creative and community-based life. When it comes to the world of art, I am excited and have a lot to learn! Artistically, my interests are with the interactions of colors, art as a means of communication, and contrasts. Our ability to identify and ignore juxtaposed ideas often tells us a lot about ourselves and our world. I’m also fascinated by the ability of art to reach across societal boundaries, allowing us to find each other and find positive experiences together.
