SUMMARY:Art-Full "Developing an Artist's Eye"
DESCRIPTION:NAAA member RenaLee Richards is offering two workshop series this summer through the NAAA. All classes will be held in the NAAA offices at 60 Main Street\, Suite 300.\n“Developing an Artist’s Eye” geared to beginner artists from age 10* and up will be held from 1-2:30 on Tuesdays from July 18 – August 1\, 2023 at a cost of $45.00 for the entire session or $15.00 per class if unable to attend all three classes.  \nClass 1 will consist of drawing exercises to train the eye to see more detail in the world around us. Students will need to come to class with a sketchbook\, pencil\, eraser\, and 1 common household object smaller than a breadbox.\nClass 2 will be on color theory and students are asked to bring a paint brush for working with poster paints\, a pencil\, ruler\, glue stick and a pair of scissors. Paper and paint will be provided. \nClass 3 will be on composition and no supplies will be needed. \nClass size is limited to 15 students. \n*Applicants under 18 years of age must have a signed permission slip from a parent/guardian.

SUMMARY:Art-Full "Developing an Artist's Eye"
DESCRIPTION:NAAA member RenaLee Richards is offering two workshop series this summer through the NAAA. All classes will be held in the NAAA offices at 60 Main Street\, Suite 300.\n“Developing an Artist’s Eye” geared to beginner artists from age 10* and up will be held from 1-2:30 on Tuesdays from July 18 – August 1\, 2023 at a cost of $45.00 for the entire session or $15.00 per class if unable to attend all three classes.  \nClass 1 will consist of drawing exercises to train the eye to see more detail in the world around us. Students will need to come to class with a sketchbook\, pencil\, eraser\, and 1 common household object smaller than a breadbox.\nClass 2 will be on color theory and students are asked to bring a paint brush for working with poster paints\, a pencil\, ruler\, glue stick and a pair of scissors. Paper and paint will be provided. \nClass 3 will be on composition and no supplies will be needed. \nClass size is limited to 15 students. \n*Applicants under 18 years of age must have a signed permission slip from a parent/guardian.

SUMMARY:Art-Full "Art Appreciation"
DESCRIPTION:“Art Appreciation” is for adults 18 years and older.  This class is for anyone seeking to expand their knowledge of art and the artistic process. This series will be held from 6 – 7:30 PM on Tuesdays from July 18 – August 1\, 2023. Cost is $60 for the entire session or $20 per class if unable to attend all three classes.  \nClass 1 will cover at a brief quick pace the definitions of certain genres and the historical period of each genre in art with an example shown from each and a list of the more famous artists of that period. \nClass 2 will cover the development of the human form through history as it applies to art.
