C.E. Ellars is a local person who does not consider himself an artist so much as a creative spirit. He does not try to make creative statements but lets his audience decide what if anything can be taken from his work. When an interest strikes, he takes the plunge and gather the materials, equipment, know-how and leaps. He is a consummate dabbler in things that weave in and out of his life as they strike his fancy: Music, Photography, Writing, A/V Recording, Music Recording, Painting, and lots more. He is a trained scientist and an untrained philosopher. His current passion is Luthierie and he has made guitars, harps and violins.
