I’m an older starter in the art world. I have been drawing and painting since I could walk. I have loved creating since I was a young child but took a 35 year hiatus to raise my family and train as a journeyman Ironworker. My steel career became art as I designed and built steel stairs for residential and commercial buildings. I retired at 58 years old because the physical ware and rare over the years have taken its toll on me. I picked up pencils again as soon as I got a chance and fell in love with the arts again. I have been creating portraits for commissions for three years now and I love to be around other creators. I constantly search for learning opportunities and I know that I can contribute time to organizations that have the same attitude as me.
