Thomas Ostien is a self-trained, passionate photographer and aspiring filmmaker who brings life experience, creativity, and imagination to his work.
Born and raised in Davie then Tampa, Florida, Thomas discovered his niche of infusing structure with nature living in Tampa for 25 years before relocating to Nashua in 2019. The historic backdrop of Ybor City and other Tampa communities paved way for Thomas to flourish in this photography genre. His love for the arts including film, cinematography and photography emerged at a very young age. As young as six, Thomas could be found sitting quietly reading every credit of a movie he had just watched in wonder trying to understand the complexity of every aspect of that film. His desire to pursue photography as his life’s work has never wained. Thomas now uses his present day experiences as a man living in recovery to flourish in photography, to flourish in life.
