Victoria Tkaczevski learned to draw from books such as Walter Foster’s “How to Draw Horses” and from recreating pictures of wildlife from her family’s encyclopedias. She majored in painting at the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford, and worked as a graphic designer and desktop publisher (when that was a thing) in the Boston area for many years. She experiments with all kinds of 2D media and currently focuses on acrylic painting, watercolors, and pencil drawings. She aspires to truthfully portray the mystery of beauty in the natural world. Her work shows a love of color exploration and expression through both traditional and non-traditional forms.
