Art-Full “Developing an Artist’s Eye”

NAAA member RenaLee Richards is offering two workshop series this summer through the NAAA. All classes will be held in the NAAA offices at 60 Main Street, Suite 300.
“Developing an Artist’s Eye” geared to beginner artists from age 10* and up will be held from 1-2:30 on Tuesdays from July 18 – August 1, 2023 at a cost of $45.00 for the entire session or $15.00 per class if unable to attend all three classes. 

Class 1 will consist of drawing exercises to train the eye to see more detail in the world around us. Students will need to come to class with a sketchbook, pencil, eraser, and 1 common household object smaller than a breadbox.
Class 2 will be on color theory and students are asked to bring a paint brush for working with poster paints, a pencil, ruler, glue stick and a pair of scissors. Paper and paint will be provided. 
Class 3 will be on composition and no supplies will be needed. 
Class size is limited to 15 students.

*Applicants under 18 years of age must have a signed permission slip from a parent/guardian.
